Leanda Lei Apartments are set amid tranquil gardens and spacious lawns with views towards Mount Gower and Lidgbird. The apartments are ideally located on Middle Beach Road only 400m from Lagoon Beach, 300m to the museum, visitor’s centre and walking distance to all the main attractions Lord Howe Island has to offer.
Leanda Lei was established in 1954 by Roy and Daphne Wilson as the first purpose built guest house on Lord Howe Island and was a “honeymooner’s haven”. In 1974 the accommodation was converted to self contained apartments, allowing for more freedom of choice regarding styles of accommodation. Leanda Lei offers studio, one bedroom and two bedroom fully equipped apartments.

Hot Deals are valid for travel within the specified dates. Travel insurance is highly recommended. Add on domestic fares from all other Australian cities are available via Sydney (We will obtain best available fare at time of purchase). Package pricing is based on ‘N’ class airfare and is dependent on availability at the time of booking. If they are not available at time of booking, we will book the next available class. This may result in a price increase. Flights operate from Sydney daily.
