The Beachcomber Lodge is a family run guesthouse set on 5 acres of beautiful Island property. Beachcomber Lodge is one of the original restored Island homesteads, secluded amongst tropical gardens and Kentia palms, with splashes of colour from fragrant frangipanis and hibiscus surrounding eight private, self-contained apartments.
A short stroll from Beachcomber down palm fringed roads will take you to either stunning Ned’s Beach, renowned for fish feeding and snorkeling, or Middle Beach, a secluded and private beach (and nearly always you will have this beach to yourself). Beachcomber is also located close to shops, cafes, restaurants, post office, all beaches, tours, attractions, and only minutes’ walk to the beginning of several bush walking tracks.
Accommodation
Each of our spacious apartments has a verandah where you can enjoy the peace and tranquility that Lord Howe offers, and all rooms include many amenities that will make your stay comfortable.
Beachcomber offers three styles of apartments: studios, one-bedrooms, and a family cottage. There are outdoor BBQ areas for use at your own leisure and laundry facilities.
We strive to ensure each stay at Beachcomber is memorable, comfortable and relaxing – and it is great to see many that stay with us return year after year!
